Capdepera
In March 2008 MDA were commissioned to prepare design proposals for 2 holiday villas in the idyllic village of Capdepera, Mallorca. The design proposals respond to the local traditional architecture whilst creating modern, light and open interior spaces for communal dining and recreation. The site is located within the village on a steeply sloping hillside and is surrounded by other properties. The building’s orientation and it’s terraces and bedrooms are positioned to give absolute privacy but present views out across the roofscape of the village to the sea beyond.
A planning application already exists on the site and the new proposals have been developed to sit within the established parameters for the sites development. MDA have been working closely with a local architect to submit the revisions for the new design and prepare information for local contractors.
