Beverston, Gloucestershire

MDA successfully designed and delivered the extension and refurbishment of a substantial home, in a sensitive location, in the Cotswold. The existing house was in a poor state and required a full refurbishment. A garden room was added and the kitchen area opened up to create a spacious living area. All of the single glazing on the property was replaced and openings reconfigured to tidy the external appearance of the property. A traditional stone porch, referencing the local vernacular, was added to the front elevation and the driveway reconfigured to improve the approach to the property. An extension was added into the central core of the house to facilitate a larger hallway and new curved walnut staircase in the heart of the building.
